As soon as i wake up i want to run away, anyone else?
Answered 1 year ago
I keep thinking about getting in my car and running away as soon as I wake up. I'm stay at home mum for the past 15 years, I have severe anxiety which I am medicated for. I've tried to get help several times to help build confidence to find a job as I know that's what I need, my own purpose. I just want to run away as soon as I open my eyes. The panic sets in.

Awww hunny, you need to attend group therapy. I attended one when I was depressed to help me get back into the work force. Everyone who attended was diagnosed with something and were going through similar things as me and we all just wanted to get back to work ( which we all did) I recommend it. We were all able to support each other and we had support workers too. We went through jobs advertised together, mock interviews, applied for jobs etc. that was over 20yrs ago and I haven’t looked back since. I’ve been working my butt off though lol. Try it, it helps.

I think you need to start with little steps. Start with a walk each day. Then two.
Then a voluntary activity in your community.
These are just bite size pieces.
Just try a couple of things.
Please let us know how you are going.
Much care and love xx
