What should I do

Answered 2 years ago

My husband and I have been together for about 16 years. We have children a good life and these days he is a good dad and partner. We were young when we had kids and he wasn't always the best has done/ said something's to me that made me lose trust. He has matured and apologised and has grown as a person. We have a good friendship we're affectionate lots of hugs and kisses, but our sex life is boring, we don't about talk much or have fun together, he is supportive of me and I of him but there's no spark, I'm a low maintenance kind of person but there's no effort there to want to talk to me or spend time with me. I know children need a stable loving home and we have that. I feel selfish for even complaining, I have tried to talk to him about it, to spend more one on one time to have fun, to connect, he just seems so complacent and not bothered by it at all.

Step up the game. You've achieved what many don't- their affectionate best friend that they've stood with through so much.
Surprise him! Come to bed in sexy lingerie and give him some, um, affection! Or just surprise him in the shower, his shed, anywhere! It's a habit to fall into and might only take the smallest manoeuvre by you to mix things up a little! Good luck x
