Men Are Lining Up to Bleach Their Penis

Men Are Lining Up to Bleach Their Penis

While some men ‘go the extra length’ to get the ‘size’ they want, others just want it plain and simple — white!

Now, we’re going nuts here at SAHM at this new craze that’s sweeping Thailand as approximately a hundred men a month go to a clinic in Bangkok for its penis whitening services. WTF! Before, it’s size, now, the colour! What is happening to the world?!

(Let me calm down just a second…)

Okay, so how did it start?

Six months ago, the Lelux Hospital, which is known for its whitening expertise, started offering this bizarre treatment after a male customer complained of “dark parts” on his groin.

“These days a lot of people are asking about it. We get around 100 clients a month, three to four clients a day,” Bunthita Wattanasiri, a manager for the Skin and Laser department at Lelux Hospital told AFP.

She (yes, a woman) explained that they use (a very small) laser for the whitening procedure. “We have to be careful because it’s a sensitive part of the body,” Ms Wattanasiri said.

The service costs around $650 for five sessions. “I think it’s a good market to enter so we offer the ultimate body treatment to our clients, either men and women,”  she added.

Penis Whitening...Anyone?

Ms Wattanasiri revealed that the procedure has gotten a lot of mileage after the hospital released images of a man undergoing the treatment on Thai TV and social media.

She added that their clients were aged between 22 and 55 years old, mostly from Thailand’s LGBTI community.

But, this is not the first time that the same hospital got into a controversy.

Last year, the Lelux Hospital began its cosmetic procedure called a “3D Vagina” wherein the client’s own body fat will be used to make her genitalia more plump.

While whitening and bleaching are common in other countries, it’s generally desired in Thailand and has now stirred people’s emotions causing debate and outrage with accusations of racism.

One user commented: “The obsession … people nowadays can’t embrace their own skin colour,” but another said, “Why not?”

So, what do you think? For men, do you really want it white?
