A talented father with a clever sense of humour has created something unique out of his six-year-old son’s drawings — and it is totally hilarious.
The father, believed to be from the UK, is so clever that he brings his son’s drawings to life — not literally though.
Through technology, he was able to put colours and background to his son’s black-and-white drawings of fish, animals and people to make it life-like, although severely distorted since he exactly followed what his son’s drawings looked like — and the results were unusually hilarious.
At first glance, it’s often hard to tell what the images are until you see the drawings. The pictures are accompanied with witty captions and poems, presumably written by the boy’s father, just like this image of a giraffe, with a thicker-than-normal neck and flat looking head…
“I know you might think that I’m having a laugh,
Well I’m not because this is an actual giraffe.”
…or this strange-looking lion, which was captioned:
“Here’s the real lion – he’s a strange looking chap,
“Perhaps he’s just groggy after his 20 hour nap.
“He’s the king of the zoo – the biggest wild cat.
“But he won’t scare a thing with a smile like that.”
The drawings are shared on the Instagram page @ThingsIHaveDrawn, which has over 51,000 followers.
The father has received praises from his followers who described the photos “creepy and cute at the same time.”
