Freelance platforms are websites that advertise for writers jobs.  Usually they have how many words the client wants, the topic and the price they are willing to pay.  If you can find a great client, it can lead to great paying ongoing work – but at first the pay might be a bit crap…  Great way to get your foot in the door of a great writing job though!
