Summer’s Spaghetti Mince
My niece Summer just loves this recipe that Grandma helped her make, but now she is so clever she can even make it herself! Summer (almost 9) and her brother Will (5) had this for dinner at Grandmas and made Mummy go shopping for the ingredients so they could surprise Mum and Dad and cook dinner. What clever little chickens they are and I’m so proud of them for cooking up a storm in the kitchen. Do your kids love to cook? This is a great kid friendly recipe with only three ingredients!
Method
-
Heat electric frypan to medium to high heat (Number 8 if you have numbers).
-
Add mince, stir and break apart using a wooden spoon until brown and cooked through. Approximately 4-5 minutes.
-
Add tomato based pasta sauce and tinned spaghetti to mince and stir through.
-
Continue to stir through for 3 minutes to heat through.
-
Serve with mash potatoes and steamed vegetables.
-
If the kids are making it they can serve it on toast or in a bowl! Easy dinner night YAY!
