How to Freeze Muffins
To get the best results freezing muffins, make sure you bake them fresh, allow them to cool to room temperature, and then pop them into a ziplock bag, trying to get as much air out as possible without crushing the muffins.
Muffins typically can be frozen for up to two months. Any longer than that and they won’t taste as fresh when you defrost them.
On school mornings, just pop a frozen muffin straight into the school lunch box, and it will be perfectly thawed and ready to eat by morning tea time.
