This Russian Caramel Fudge recipe is for the sweet tooths!
It’s been a while since we made candy, and this Russian Caramel Fudge is the new family favourite.
This is an easy recipe and quick to make with ingredients readily available but there are three things to keep in mind to achieve the perfect texture – it is to prepare all the ingredients before starting to cook so everything is ready and on hand’s reach, getting the right heat and maintaining it and lastly, consistently mixing until the mix thickens.
Practice makes perfect and once you do this few times, you will be able to achieve that sweet, smooth and delicious Russian Caramel Fudge.
These are lovely as gifts or a treat for the family to dig in once in a while.
Method

Prepare a greased dish or a wide bowl with parchment paper. Set aside.

Take a heavy based saucepan and place all the ingredients inside. Boil in low to medium heat for 5.

Make sure to stir consistently until the texture thickens as this will affect the consistency of the caramel.

After 7 minutes, take off the stove and keep stirring until it thickens.

Pour into prepared dish quickly then set aside to cool.

Cut into squares or bite-sized pieces.
