Did someone say Rich Red Wine Brownies?
My heart almost skipped a beat when I heard two of my favourite things together in one sentence. Wine and brownies. How can I say no to that??
You all know how SAHM ladies love wine and this recipe just shows how incredibly versatile red wine can be. When added to basic chocolate brownies (no offense, chocolate brownies, we still love you!) it makes for a richer, satisfying and incredibly mind-blowing dessert fix.
Method
-
Preheat oven to 350°F. In low heat, melt the butter in the saucepan and then add in the chocolate. Stir until the butter and chocolate has melted and is mixed together well. Set aside to cool.
-
Line an 8x8 inch metal baking pan with parchment paper. Set aside.
-
In a bowl, pour the butter and chocolate mixture and then add in the brown sugar. Whisk together on medium speed. Also add an egg, whisk, and then add in another egg. Whisk for 30 seconds until the colour of the batter becomes lighter.
-
Add in the cocoa powder, flour, salt, vanilla extract and then whisk it in low speed for another 30 seconds.
-
Pour batter into the baking pan.
-
Bake for 35-38 minutes then let it cool. Eat with wine or vanilla ice cream!
