Peach Cobbler is a really easy dessert to make – and you don’t have to use peaches. You can use just about any other tinned fruit you like! Perfect served with custard or ice cream!

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

  2. Spray the base of a shallow oven proof dish with cooking spray.

  3. Combine the self raising flour, sugar, butter and milk in a large bowl and beat with an electric mixer until smooth.

  4. Stir in the peach slices until combined.

  5. Transfer the mixture to the oven proof dish and place in oven.

  6. Bake for approx 45 mins.

  7. Peach Cobbler is suitable to freeze for up to two months.

  8. If the Peach Cobbler is browning too quickly in the oven, place a cover or foil over the dish for the last 10 mins of cooking time to prevent burning.

  9. You can use fresh fruit if you wish by stewing it first then adding instead of the tinned fruit.
