Here’s how to make cheese sauce in the microwave!
Cheese sauce is great for those nights when you’re in a rush to cook dinner. Your family will think you slaved away for hours to make this gorgeous sauce. It’s cheesy enough to be the base sauce for Macaroni Cheese, or as a Bechamel sauce for Lasagne.
This is the more traditional ‘French’ version where you make a roux sauce first. But making cheese sauce in the microwave is so much easier than on the stove top, and you are a lot less likely to burn it. I use a large glass jug to make mine – do this or find a microwave proof container.
