Mashed Potato is a staple in my household.  It’s tasty, delicious and fills up hungry tummies. But, if your’re sick of the same old bland version, here are some ways to jazz it up a little.

Method

  1. Peel the unwashed potatoes and wash well under running tap water

  2. Chop into quarters (no smaller) and place in large pot of boiling water

  3. Boil for 20 minutes or until a sharp knife splits the potato quarters in half when inserted

  4. Drain and leave in the warm pot.

  5. Add the butter and hot milk (hot milk makes it creamy, cold milk will make it gluggy) and mash well.
