My husband absolutely adores Homemade Granola – or ‘fancy muesli’ as he calls it. It is widely available from the supermarket in Australia but it costs a FORTUNE!!! But now I can make it for him at home and it makes for a really lovely gift – just pop it in a jar with a ribbon!
Method
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
Line a large shallow baking tray with baking paper and set aside.
Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl.
Melt the butter and the honey together and add to the dry ingredients. Mix well.
Spread the mixture evenly over the baking paper and bake for 15 minutes or until lightly toasted.
Allow to cool and store in a sealed jar.
Recipe Hints and Tips:
Homemade Granola keeps well for up to two weeks in a sealed jar.
Feel free to reduce the amount of sugar to your taste.
