  • 2 cups Rolled Oats
  • 1.5 cups Wholemeal Flour
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 cup Mixed Dried Fruit
  • 2/3 cup Maple Syrup
  • 1 tbsp Water boiling
  • 1 tsp Bicarb Soda
  • 60 g Margarine

This Fruit Slice is a great snack for the whole family!

It’s loaded with dried fruits and rolled oats! Tasty and full of texture! All you need is 30 minutes to whip these up!

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

  2. Grease a lamington tin.

  3. Mix oats, flour, fruit and sugar into a bowl.

  4. Place maple syrup and margarine in microwave proof jug and cook on high for 2 minutes stirring once.

  5. Carefully mix in water and bicarbonate soda and pour into the dry ingredients, mixing well.

  6. Press into tin and bake for 15 20 minutes.

  7. Let it cool and cut into rectangles

  8.  Fruit Slice is suitable to freeze for up to three months.
