Why Go For Banana Oaty Smoothie?
I’m not sure bout you, but most of us simply don’t have the leisure in the mornings to put up a nutritious meal, which is why I like making smoothies! Don’t get me wrong, fruit smoothies are extremely great, but every now and then you need to spice things up and have something a bit more full!
Unlike your regular smoothie, this banana and oat morning smoothie is rich and creamy with a delightful texture that is unique from your normal smoothie since it is mixed with oats, and creamy yogurt, which gives the smoothie an additional great, earthy flavour!
Let us now turn our attention to the bananas. Although you may use either fresh or frozen bananas on this Banana Oaty Smoothie, I’d recommend using frozen bananas since they make this smoothie creamier and smoother. You may put your faith in me about this.
I genuinely think that the easiest approach to freeze bananas is to first peel them, then split them in half (or thirds, depending on their size) and encase them in plastic wrap twice more than they would normally be. This preserves them nice and fresh, plus it prevents them from developing freezer burn while they’re resting in your refrigerator. Afterward, when you’re ready to prepare your smoothie, just toss everything into your blender and mix until smooth.
I usually make a point of freezing ripe bananas in advance so that I’ll have them on hand whenever I’m in the mood for a Banana Oaty Smoothie.
