Sweet Chilli and Bacon Devilled Eggs

I just loooove curried devilled eggs so I came up with new combo just to mix it up a little! Can’t go wrong with bacon….let us know what your favourite combination is.
This unique recipe is great because it has a good balance of salty, sweet, and, if you wish to turn it up a notch, add spicy flavors. There are hardly any crumbs or other messes!
Sweet Chilli and Bacon Devilled Eggs is a sure hit to kids and adults!
Method

Fill saucepan 3/4 full with water place uncooked eggs in and bring to the boil. Add a pinch of salt (this will help stop your eggs from cracking) dip eggs in with a spoon a few times so again they don't break.

Once in boiling water cook for a further 10 minutes for hard boiled.Drain and pour cold water over them before peeling. Once cooled, peel eggs and cut in half.

Remove yolk and place in a bowl, add sweet chilli sauce and mayonnaise mash with a fork until smooth.

Using a teaspoon scoop yolk mix back into egg center and serve.

Heat frypan and add diced bacon and onion, lightly fry until just starting to brown. Remove from heat and set aside.

Drain and pour cold water over eggs before peeling. Once cooled, peel eggs and cut in half.

Remove yolk and place in a bowl, add mayonnaise and curry powder mash with a fork until smooth, stir through cooked bacon.

Using a teaspoon scoop yolk mix back into egg center and serve.
Recipe Hints and Tips:
- Devilled Eggs are not suitable for freezing, keep refrigerated in an airtight container overnight, though best served on day that they are made.
