Here’s a Halloween dessert winner… Worms in Dirt Choco Mousse!
This is a favourite Halloween dessert in our house and can also be a boys’ birthday party dessert idea.
Putting together a birthday theme for boys can sometimes be hard to come up with so we have this one for you that they will love to eat and think is funny too!
You’ll need 12 small clear cups, small glasses like shot glasses or bowls for this recipe!
Method
-
Fill each cup with 1 cm crushed biscuits.
-
Fill cup almost to the top with chocolate mousse - you can also use choco custard or yoghurt.
-
Top with more crushed cookies and crystals or sprinkles if using.
-
Poke in a few snakes into the 'dirt' and serve! Watch those smiles light up!
Recipe Hints and Tips:
- Worms in Dirt are not suitable for freezing but can be made up to a day in advance, cover with glad wrap and store in the fridge until ready to serve.
- You can use sour worms instead of snakes for worms in dirt
Don’t they look gorgeous? They’re super fun and delicious, too!
