Obviously, that’s why we named this The Christmas Grinch Pavlova!
When you swirl the food colour in, do it gently and slowly so that you end up with white and green and not just green, it will stay green in the middle, and the outside will look beautiful.
The Christmas Grinch Pavlova is a fun and easy way to bring the Grinch into your holiday celebrations! This cheerful dessert is made with a fluffy meringue base, then topped with whipped cream, green food coloring, and a Grinch-themed decoration.
The best part about this festive treat is that it can be easily customised to suit your family’s taste. For example, you can use different flavors of extract in the meringue or add fruit toppings to the whipped cream. However you make it, the Christmas Grinch Pavlova is sure to be a hit with kids and adults alike!
Method

Preheat oven to 180°C

Beat the egg whites until silky peaks form

Gradually add the sugar one tablespoon at a time, allowing it to mix in between additions

Once all the sugar has been added mix for another minute or so

Add the cornflower, vinegar and vanilla and fold through with a metal spoon

Add ½ tsp green food colour and gently swirl through the meringue

Place meringue in the centre an oven tray lined with baking paper, put in the oven then turns the heat down to 120°C

Bake for 55-60 minutes.

Turn the oven off, leave the door ajar, and leave to cool down in the oven.

Top with whipped cream, raspberries and chocolate.
