Believe it or not – Strawberries and Balsamic Vinegar is an absolute taste sensation – and when strawberries are in season – this is a super cheap, super delicious dessert!

The sweetness of the fresh in-season strawberries with the tart taste of the Balsamic is just damn divine.

Method

  1. Remove the stalk from the strawberries.

  2. Cut into quarters and place in a glass or bowl.

  3. Sprinkle the brown sugar over the top and very gently stir (try not to squash the strawberries).

  4. Top with the balsamic vinegar, again stir very gently.

  5. Pile into the serving plate or glass and spoon a little of the sugary vinegar syrup over the top.

  6. Add a dollop of the whipped cream cheese and serve immediately.

Recipe Hints and Tips:

  • Strawberries and Balsamic Vinegar is not suitable for freezing.
