1. Crepes
A crepe basically looks like a very thin pancake, a pastry made from wheat flour and can be eaten as part of any meal due to their versatility. They are typically served with fillings, ranging from sweet ones like fruit, to savoury like ham and eggs.
2. Dutch Baby Pancakes
Usually served for breakfast, a Dutch baby pancake, which is also called a Bismarck, is a type of a “popover,” which means that instead of being flat and dense like your regular pancake, it swells and is hollow in the middle. It is usually seasoned with vanilla and cinnamon.
3. Potato Pancakes
Potato pancakes are, you guessed it, made of grated or ground potatoes. They are often savoury and flavoured with garlic or onion and can be served with sour cream or cottage cheese. But they can be made sweet, too!
4. Panettone Pancakes
A Panettone is a sweet bread that originates from Italy, and this recipe combines Panettone and pancakes into one fluffy and delicious dish. They’re also lighter than the typical Panettone and are butter-free!

Also known as plain Crispy Pancakes or Turnover Pancakes, Crispy Apam Balik is a popular snack found in the streets of Malaysia. They are usually served sweet, with crushed peanuts, sugar, and corn as filling.
6. Dosa
Dosa is India’s answer to savoury pancakes. What makes it unique is that it is made from a fermented batter with rice and black gram as main ingredients. Also, dosa contains no added sugars or saturated fats!
