  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 1 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 2 Tbsp Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • Dairy Free, Egg Free and Gluten Free Condensed Milk Recipe
  • 3 cups Soy Milk Almond milk or Oat milk
  • 3 cups White Sugar
  • 3 tbsp Cornflour
  • Sugar Free Condensed Milk Recipe
  • 3 tsp Butter melted
  • 2/3 Cup Sugar Substitute
  • 1/3 cup Boiling Water
  • 1 1 Cup Instant Milk Powder

Condensed Milk is liquid gold – but what if you need a substitute for condensed milk?

Condensed Milk is truly the nectar of the Gods, and perhaps its own food group!  What if you have run out of condensed milk or are dairy intolerant?

Here are some nifty recipes for condensed milk alternatives!

Method

  1. Mix all ingredients and use as a substitute for sweetened condensed milk in recipes for pies, bars and desserts.

  2. It will keep in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 24 hours only. After then, discard.

  3. In a medium saucepan heat together the milk and the sugar.

  4. Stir the milk to dissolve the sugar and cook on a low to medium heat for twenty minutes (without allow it to boil) to reduce.

  5. In a small cup add a the sifted cornflour and add a tablespoon of water and mix to a thick paste (make sure you get any lumps out).

  6. Pour the cornflour mixture unto the heated milk and turn off the heat.

  7. Stir the condensed milk until it becomes thick.

  8. Keep it sealed in an air tight container for up to four days in the fridge.

  9. Place all ingredients into a bowl and beat until smooth.

  10. It will keep in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 24 hours only.

  11. After then, discard.
