Since you’ve made your fruit mince, now here is the recipe for Christmas Truffles to use it in.
Dark chocolate is an antioxidant, nuts have your protein, butter is your dairy, and fruit mince is your fruit… so really this is a healthy snack! Well not really but you can tell yourself that!
These Christmas Fruit Mince Truffles are really good frozen too – you can eat them straight from the freezer and they are THE BEST when frozen!
Method

Melt chocolate and stir until smooth.

Remove from heat and add butter, one piece at a time, stirring until well combined and smooth. Add fruit mince and half a cup of nuts, mix to combine.

Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour or until firm.

Roll tablespoonfuls into balls and coat with remaining nuts.

Chill before serving.

Christmas Fruit Mince Truffles are suitable for freezing, layer between sheets of baking paper and seal in an air tight container for up to four weeks.
