Cheese SandwichSouffle is a perfect recipe for kids dinners or heart breakfast and it is so simple, and frugal!
Method
Cut the crusts off the bread.
Grab a medium sized ramekin and layer the three slices of bread with the grated cheese (ending up with cheese on top).
In a separate bowl beat together the egg and milk and pour over the top.
Bake in a hot oven for 15 minutes or until golden and set and the crusts have gone crunch on top!.
Recipe Hints and Tips:
You could also make a Ham and Cheese Sandwich Souffle with added layers of ham.
