If you’re looking for a new treat that blends sweet and savory flavors in one delightful bite, then you’ve got to try these choco balls with coconut. This simple mix of coconut, Milo chocolate, and crunchy Milk biscuits will tantalize your taste buds in every way possible.
Not only are these balls delicious to eat, but they’re also incredibly easy to make. All you need are essential ingredients you can find around the house or at a nearby grocery store.
After crushing the biscuits and pinching some Milo powder, roll them in crushed almonds or another type of nut. You can top them off with shredded coconut for an added yummy texture.
Method
-
Crush the biscuits until small or fine (this works well in a food processor if you have one!).
-
Add the Milo and condensed milk and mix until well combined.
-
Roll into teaspoon sized balls with your hands (damp hands make the balls easier to handle) and then roll in the shredded coconut to coat.
-
Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until firm.
-
Milo Balls are suitable to freeze for up to four weeks. Layer with baking paper and seal in an airtight container..
-
Wash your hands every 2-3 balls as the mixture is VERY sticky.
-
Store in the fridge.
-
If you are not a fan of coconut, Milo Balls can be rolled in sifted cocoa or chocolate sprinkles.
-
I found that using a plastic spoon to use as a scoop and a dish of water to dunk it in made the process of rolling so much easier.
