Chocolate Condensed Milk Balls are always popular as they are super addictive.
You won’t be able to stop at just one Chocolate Condensed Milk Ball! They are also fun and easy to make and their rich flavours make them irresistible. I love making these Chocolate Condensed Milk Balls during the holidays, I make these with my boys and then we pop them into the freezer.
There’s a lot of eating going on and it’s nice to have something to grab especially when guests come over!
I like using a Food Processor to make my Chocolate Condensed Milk Balls – it makes it so much easier – it literally only takes under 10 minutes to make them and then pop them in the freezer.
I use Marie biscuits in this recipe – but you can use any plain sweet biscuit such as:
- Scotch Fingers
- Nice Biscuits
Storing Your Chocolate Condensed Milk Balls:
Place them on a baking tray and pop them in to the freezer. Once they are solid, pop them into a zip lock bag. They are good in the freezer for up to six months.
Chocolate Condensed Milk Balls should be on your Christmas Cooking list – you can make them months in advance so they are nice and easy to just pop on a plate and serve – the kids will devour them! Chocolate condensed milk balls are a popular dessert in many parts of the world. They are made by combining Chocolate and Condensed Milk into a ball shape and then rolling them in Chocolate chips or other coatings.
The finished balls are often wrapped in foil or cellophane and given as gifts. They may look tempting, and Chocolate condensed milk balls can be quite heavy and rich.
Method

Crush the Marie biscuits well (food processor works well - or you can wrap them in a tea towel and hit with a rolling pin).

Add the condensed milk, cocoa and the half cup of coconut.

Roll the mixture into small balls and roll in the extra coconut or sprinkles and refrigerate for three hours to set. Yummy!
Recipe Hints and Tips:
- Chocolate Condensed Milk Balls can be frozen. Layer in baking paper in an air-tight container for up to four weeks.
- Stores well in the fridge in an air-tight container for up to a week.
