An important part of budgeting that some people forget is tracking expenses.
While setting a specific budget is important, it is much more practical to write down everything you bought or paid for during the month first. This practice is necessary not only because you see where your money went but also because it helps you assess your spending. By tracking your expenses, you can see where you spent too much and where you can reduce your spending. For example, in my case, I only realised grocery shopping incurred too much unnecessary costs when I started tracking my spending!
It is not difficult to do so, although it does take up time. We want you to have an easier time budgeting so here’s a TOTALLY FREE set of spending logs for you!
