Easter is almost here and what better way to prepare than creating eggs-cellent and Pinterest worthy Easter eggs. The old and usual boring shades of paints might have bore you so we thought you might be interested to learn dyeing Easter eggs naturally.

Skip the paints and dyes that have been lining the store shelves and get your hands on dyeing your Easter eggs THE natural way, when I say natural- raw and fresh fruit and veggie peels.
1. Pink
Your daughter may be distressed if she doesn’t see any pink eggs on Easter morn! Mix two cups water with two cups peeled, grated beets. Add a tablespoon of vinegar for every cup of liquid that remains after simmering the beets and water.
2. Orange
You might just think that carrot-coloured eggs are in order, this will do the trick.
Add two cups of yellow onion peels and water to cover skins by an inch.
Add a tablespoon of vinegar for every cup of liquid that remains after simmering onion peel and water.
3. Yellow
There’s something about yellow that makes everyone glow and be happy.
Take two cups of water, a tablespoon of turmeric and 2 tablespoons of vinegar makes a vivid shade on white eggs while creating a gold hue on brown eggs.
4. Green/ Blue
With this mixture, you can come up with two colours on different eggshells.
Add enough water to cover two cups of shredded purple cabbage and mix 1 tablespoon of vinegar after the dye is boiled. When applied, the white eggs will turn blue while the brown ones will turn to green. If you want to make a darker shade try using brewed hibiscus tea to make a dark green colour and blueberries for a slightly marbled blue color.
5. Purple
We wouldn’t miss this fine colour.
