The moment you walk down the aisle wearing your wedding dress is an emotional feeling.
But for Hollywood celebrities, weddings are brought up a notch higher because the world’s eyes are watching them..and because they can afford a grand one..or two..or even three.
They never fail our expectations, too! Even in their wedding dress choices. These celebrities look really perfect and elegant with their wedding dresses.
Kate Upton
Kate giving us fairytale princess vibes with her white, frothy ball gown with sheer lace sleeves.
Mariah Carey
Mariah’s wedding dresses are all gorgeous – who cares how many times she got married? They all went well with her look and the current year’s trends.
Sofia Vergara
This look as a whole is just gorgeous!
Priyanka Chopra
This stunning Dior gown looks so classic and modern at the same time.
Idina Menzel
Disney princess feels for Idina Menzel’s bridal gown. The entire look is just so feminine and romantic!
Serena Williams
The cape is definitely a winner for me. Boss babe getting married right here! – that’s what the look is saying!
Celine Dion
Celine Dion’s wedding dress has been subject to love hate on the internet but it’s a Victorian era inspired one so it just might not be everyone’s taste. However, I think she pulled it off quite well. The headpiece may have robbed the aim for a bridal look but the dress hugs her body in all the right places – even the sleeves! I was wondering if she can breath well in this one, though.
Audrey Hepburn
Audrey is just true to her style and it shows off in this bridal gown of hers.
Meghan Markle
Classic and neat – something you wouldn’t usually use to describe bridal gowns especially one worn for a royal wedding. But Meghan Markle isn’t one to go with tradition.
Solange Knowles
Another boss babe wedding gown that we love! Is she a bride, a CEO of a multi-million company or the mother of dragons? Who knows.
Reese Witherspoon
Witherspoon wore a beautiful soft pink dress which is a corset top made of Chantilly lace along with separated tulle A-line skirt with a silk satin ribbon on it. It was a custom-made Monique Lhuiller gown. She looked really cute and youthful.
Princess Diana
The princess is perfectly wearing her dress made of ivory silk and embellished with pearls, sequins and antique lace.
Gwen Stefani
The rock band vocalist of No Doubt is pretty in pink. She wore a dip-dyed hot pink gown!
Holly Valance
The former Neighbours star scrubs up alright! She wore a wedding dress inspired by nature and French lace.
Kate Middleton
The Duchess of Cambridge wore an outstanding dress made with ivory and white satin gazar.
Salma Hayek
When Salma Hayek married husband François-Henri Pinault on Valentine’s Day, it was a secret, low-key civil ceremony in Paris with just a few family members in attendance. The bride looked stunning in a Balenciaga wedding gown by Nicholas Ghesquiere with her hair swept back into a bun with a long veil.
Anne Hathaway
Hathaway beaming in her perfectly stunning Valentino Gown. That colour peeking out of her skirt looks like her path has been illuminated with some kind of psatel pink smoke. The design of the skirt is just genius and so extra – we love it!
Olivia Palermo
Ever one to slightly irk fashion tradition, Olivia Palermo opted for a modern three-piece ensemble custom-designed by Carolina Herrera. The outfit consisted of a cream cashmere sweater, a pair of white shorts, and a tulle overlay skirt.
Kim Kardashian
I picked this one over the wedding dress she wore when she married Kanye. I just like this one better! She wore a strapless Vera Wang ball gown dressed up excellent with a diamond headpiece.
Hillary Duff
I couldn’t pick one so I choose both of Hilary Duff’s wedding dresses. For her wedding with ex-husband Mike Comrie, she wore a mermaid bridal gown which is a hand painted silk tulle and organza dress. Fairy tale-y right? For her wedding with Matthew Koma last year, it was the opposite of fairytale feels but just as good.
It was a bright white ivory dress with a fishtail skirt and empowered shoulders.
Fierce but sexy!
Seems like her wedding dresses had an underlying message of how she has grown into a different woman over the years..
