A couple have sent their “big thank you” to the staff of Big W Rockhampton who helped them when their 13-month-old daughter had seizures in the store on Friday.

The couple wrote that while they were in the store, their baby experienced multiple seizures. They said their friend immediately called an ambulance and a passerby who was a nurse also came in and helped. Then, they said that the Big W put staff at both the store’s entrance to guide the ambulance in and got the things they needed to help their baby.

However, the couple were even more touched by the staff’s gesture on their toddler:

“But what meant the most to me was how they looked after my 3 year old that was with me. They distracted her so well and they gave her a toy and a lollipop…May seem like a small gesture, but to me it absolutely blessed this [Mummy’s] heart!”

Jules N Sarah said Big W staff had even called them on Saturday morning to check on how their baby was going, and sent them flowers.

“Was a scary experience, but I’m praising God for the people he puts around us! And My 13 month old is doing fantastically!! Thanks so much! I’m extremely [grateful] for your generosity!”

The post has earned more than 9,400 reactions.
