A mum-of-three has made a very frank post about ‘quick and slightly obligated parent sex’ that most mums can relate to.
On Saturday, mum blogger Mel Watts has written a cheeky post on her Facebook page, The Modern Mumma, titled, ‘Did we just have a quickie’.
She wrote:
“With one child at the neighbours and a baby asleep in the cot it seemed like a perfect opportunity,’ the mother-of-three wrote.
“I mean I’ve been turning him down for long enough I actually felt bad.
“Knowing it was only going to take a few minutes and I’ll have a day of any food I want to eat, listen to any music I want and an early night. Sounds delightful right?”
Ms Watts also wrote about how she decided to give in to her husband’s saucy request.
“Rewind back this morning I’ve had dad sex jokes thrown at me all morning. Packages dropped on my shoulder, dry humping my leg and asking if I want sausage to eat. I would hardly say it was romantic. I may have to admit it was quick and slightly obligated,” she wrote.
She also explained that turning down her husband’s ‘charms’ was not because she was ungrateful but because she was ‘tired and exhausted’.
She told Daily Mail Australia mothers should be able to talk about sex publicly.
“Everyone in the world has sex at one point in their life. So there a billions of different types of sex drives. Not everyone has the same, no everyone has the same needs as someone else,” she said.
The post has now gained more than 4,500 reactions.
