A six-month-old girl has become the world’s youngest water skier after skiing over 200 metres at the World Barefoot Centre in the US.
Zyla St Onge has broken the decades-old record of a six-month-old boy after skiing 209.21 metres during her second attempt and has become the youngest (and probably the cutest) water skier.
Last Friday, Zyla first attempted to break the record as she skied nearly 19m on Lake Silver, in Winter Haven, Florida. However, the next day, the baby skied a dominant 209 metres at the age of six months and 26 days.
She broke Parks Bonifay’s record of water skiing at the age of six months and 29 days.
Her father, Keith St. Onge, wrote about it on Facebook saying: “We are very proud of our little baby girl Zyla!”
Keith is the co-owner of the World Barefoot Center, a water-ski school in Winter Haven.
Meanwhile, the now adult, Bonifay is currently a professional wakeboarder and the first to be documented, landing a 1080.
