Old Melbourne Gaol

The Substation
The Substation is a not-for-profit contemporary arts space which can also transform into a stunning industrial venue for hire. Having turned 100 years old in 2015, the building is an iconic part of the Newport landscape.
It is possible to also hold your ceremony in the building if you have a guest list of up to 150 people. Income generated from venue hire goes directly towards funding arts programming in the building for all Melbournians to enjoy.
