Doctor
We’ve already covered gynos and dermatologists, but having a familiar doctor is a must for women. Usually, this will be a GP (general practitioner), preferably someone located within easy access, and able to be bulk billed (or covered by insurance). Whether you’re a parent or not, it just makes sense to have a doctor, and have a good relationship with them. By seeing different doctors all the time, you’re likely to get a bad attitude towards your own health, or the health of your children. A doctor who knows you well will see when something is wrong, and trust your own judgement about your health issues. They’ll also motivate you to keep on top of regular health issues like mammograms and shots.
