We live in a society that is hugely influenced by sex.
The exploitation of sex acts once kept to the bedroom is plastered all over the internet for anyone to access. You can watch it free and live out basically any fantasy you like. There is so much to choose from I was honestly shocked by the amount of content on offer. It’s an absolutely crazy underworld that clearly most of us dabble in, even if we won’t admit it.
The categories to choose from are literally in the 1000’s and there’s no-way to count just how many. What I did find though, was some stifling statistics that points out just how prominent pornography is in today’s society. Various articles based on data collected from mainstream porn websites suggest that in 2016 alone, 4.6 billion hours of pornography was watched. Let’s put that into perspective here. That means a full 525,114 people across the world would have had to watch pornography continuously for an entire year.
That’s insane.
It doesn’t stop there though. This industry spends 16.9 billion dollars in the US alone annually to keep their 28,258 clients per second happy. Seriously, who has that much fucking time on their hands anyway and why don’t they have jobs? Pornhub and RedTube are both big time suppliers of the world’s pornography with Pornhub recently providing a per capita study showing the USA as their top subscriber.
Following America is Iceland, the UK, Canada and our lovely neighbours New Zealand. They also revealed what category each of the world’s countries were particularly partial too. Apparently; Australia is happy watching Lesbian Porn.
Our obsession with 2 females going at it has now been exposed and to be honest I’m kind of happy about it. Why? Because to me it’s not weird. Given the categories I stumbled upon like ‘Old Man/Lady Cream Pie’ this makes me feel like Australians in general aren’t as fucked up as the rest of the world.
Asian countries love their Hentai porn which makes sense, but I personally have no idea what the attraction is. Europe, South America and Iceland are 9 inches deep in an anal obsession. And given the saying ‘Once you go black you never go back’ it’s no wonder Africa is partial to Ebony porn. This category is usually based around a white woman being ploughed by an unimaginably huge big black dick. Italians love themselves a good MILF session, Greeks are all for the mature ladies and the Indians prefer teens. Regardless of what category you’re into it seems the entire world is watching it.
According to Porn Hub stats Australians also have stamina. Apparently on average, each Australian watching porn spends a whopping 9 minutes and 44 seconds on site before leaving. This ranks number 5 in the world and must admit, I’m quite proud to be part of a nation of enduring lovers. It’s also recognised that in Australia it’s mostly men that still watch porn as opposed to countries like Mongolia where women outweigh their male counterparts. But it’s all in the statistics.
I actually lol’d when I found out that in America the top searched pornography term was ‘stepmom’. If that’s not an indication of the countries sad state of affairs I really don’t know what is. However, that too can work against Australia considering we did make the top 10 list of porn subscribers world-wide coming in at number 8. And we clearly give 0 fucks about it. Australia is becoming more and more liberal regarding sex and I think that pornography is in fact normalising sexual acts that pre-porn explosion wouldn’t have been so widely accepted.
I’m not saying it’s wrong, nor am I saying its right. I’m just pointing out that 10 years ago I would have been ridiculed terribly by posting articles about fanny farting or pegging. But now it’s open slather. People are intrigued and in some cases it has broadened our nation’s sexual horizons in a good way. But is there a problem? Is pornography creating unrealistic expectations of what happens in the bedroom between 2 loving couples? Anal sex seems to be a standard inclusion among our younger demographic.
Is this because of porn or has it always been the case and just become a more acceptable conversation these days.
It doesn’t matter what your opinion is when it comes to pornography. It’s a multi-billion dollar industry that’s here to stay. You can watch at least 80 Headline Categories just on Porn Hub with further categories within each of those. You’re entitled to view content involving people pissing on each other to ‘cuckolding’; husbands watching their wives lay another man. The options are literally endless and peoples fetishes are shared on the world’s biggest and most interactive platform available; the internet.
I’m with 92% of the population who either encourage, accept or have a neutral view on pornography. The other 8% of the population lied because their partner was in the room when asked what their views were (in my humble opinion). I’ve watched it, been sent and forwarded porn via messages and emails and used it for both sexual stimulation and comedic relief. I’ve laughed about it with friends and been horrified by a video so disgusting the memory has involuntarily violated a space in my brain; ‘2 girls one cup’ in case you too want to know why I spewed on myself while having coffee with a friend. Is this healthy? Probably not. Am I deviant? I don’t think so.
I personally think I am just as humanly curious as the next person.
Porn just has no chill. You open a channel and it’s literally raining dicks that often seem incredibly larger than your partners. But in truth it isn’t reality and it’s also a choice. Porn is like pineapple on pizza. You have your avid pro pineapple lovers, those who detest it and the rest of us who just wanna get fed. Irrespective of your views, porn has its place. That place may not be on your computer but you can bet your arse if you don’t live alone, at some point your screen has seen some Lesbian Scissor action for sure.
