6. Trypophobia
Another very strange, and very specific, phobia is trypophobia, or the fear of holes. Specifically the phobia relates to a fear of small holes, particularly irregular patterns or clusters of small holes. While it is not yet a recognised phobia, there are many people who claim to have it and admit that the sight of these holes can trigger a feeling of fear and disgust, leaving them avoiding any natural or manmade object that features them.
7. Aerophobia
You might feel a little apprehensive about flying, but aerophobia is the name for the phobia relating to flying. Many people suffer with aerophobia, and will do anything to avoid having to get on a plane including driving long distances or relying on trains and buses. This kind of phobia tends to be associated with fears of small spaces from which there is no escape, and can lead to extreme panic attacks in sufferers.
