5. Cooking Class
Learning to cook is an absolutely fantastic life skill, and expanding your cooking knowledge is always worth doing. It’s also a pretty good way to meet a potential partner. Cooking classes, particularly those run in more male-dominated locations or with male-dominated themes, do attract a variety of guys. It’s entirely possible that you could meet the man of your dreams over some homemade beer-battered fish!
6. Bookstores
We know, there aren’t as many bookstores as there used to be, so admittedly, this one might not work in your area. However, bookstores can be the perfect place for introverted bookworms to meet like minds. Conversations are pretty easy to start when you see a potential date holding a book you just love, and they really do flow on from there. Plus, in bookstores, where there’s also a cafe (increasingly common), there’s an easy first date opportunity!
7. Community Garden
Community gardens are an increasingly common feature in many neighbourhoods, particularly in metropolitan areas where people simply don’t have the space for their own garden. If you have an interest in gardening, this can be the perfect place to meet someone just like you. Community gardens often attract men with a health mindset as they offer a chance to get good quality vegetables, as well as a regular workout in the great outdoors.
8. Language Class
Learning a language is a fantastic personal challenge, but it’s also a pretty good place to meet a potential partner. All kinds of people choose to learn a new language, and it’s often something people use to fill the time when they aren’t in a relationship, making it much easier for you. Not to mention there are lots of opportunities to talk, in English or otherwise! And of course, if you do meet someone at the class, you can travel together to the country your new language is spoken!
