5. Inside Out
via ClipartFestAmong a few fan theories about Inside Out, there is one that says Riley was adopted. This is because we see her mother standing in front of newborn Riley, talking to her, in the very beginning of the film, which is not likely if she had just given birth to her.
6. Finding Nemo

This one is also kind of depressing. Fans have suggested that Nemo didn’t survive the attack that killed his mother and siblings and the entire movie is about Marlin dealing with the stages of grief.
The first piece of evidence put forward is that “Nemo” means “nothing” in Latin, implying that Nemo is not real. The second piece of evidence is that the five stages of grief are easily seen in the movie.
- Denial – not wanting Nemo to go to school.
- Anger – yelling at Nemo when he swims out too far.
- Bargaining – his entire journey across the ocean with Dory.
- Despair – seeing Nemo disappearing down the drain.
- Acceptance – Finally being able to let go of the past.
7. Elsa and Rupunzel
via disney.wikia.comWe looked at how the parents of Elsa and Anna in Frozen are linked to both the Little Mermaid and Tarzan, but another fan theory claims that Elsa and Rapunzel from Tangled are sisters. One angle on the theory says that when Tangled was released in 2010, Rapunzel was 18 years old and when Frozen was released in 2013, Elsa was 21 and she would have been the same age as Rapunzel. This has led to more speculation that Elsa and Rapunzel may be twins because of their similar looks and that they’re both left-handed.
8. Monsters Inc.

In this theory, Boo, the little girl from Monsters Inc grew up to become the Merida, the witch from Brave. She first reveals her magic powers when Sully closes the door on Boo and then when he turns around, she is outside again.
In Brave, Merida does carpentry and there is a carving of Sully in her shop. Also, the changes to her lair by entering a door, much like the doors in Monsters Inc.
