One of the reasons we often don’t do that much walking is because we’re programmed to save as much energy as possible by being efficient. That’s why we load ourselves up with groceries so we don’t have to do as many trips from the house to the car. So, to boost your steps, work on being less efficient, and more active.

When you have a choice of what route to take, make sure you’re always choosing the scenic route. This means you’ll be able to boost your steps, but it also means you’ll get a little bit more natural beauty in your day, which is always worthwhile.
