From black beans to pinto beans, and every bean in between, these little things contain the most fibre and protein of any vegetable that we eat. Mums need to get a lot of protein during pregnancy, but fibre is also super important because pregnancy makes your gastrointestinal tract slow. This can lead to both haemorrhoids and constipation, but fibre helps to prevent, and relieve, these issues.
