List of Queensland Water Parks
Queensland is the Sunshine State, and it’s hot as hell here in the Summer months. Our family always visits at least one of the many Queensland Water Parks during the Christmas School Holidays – it is a tremendously fun (and exhausting) day out for the whole family – no matter how old your kids are. Best of all – the grown-ups have a terrific day too!
Make sure you pack your own lunches and drinks (because the food and drinks at all water parks are INSANELY expensive) – pack your towel and sunscreen and have a ripper of a day.
Here is a list of the major water parks here in Queensland!
1. Wet n Wild
- Type: Water Theme Park
- Location: The Gold Coast
Located on the Gold Coast – Wet N Wild is probably THE best water park in the whole of Australia. It caters to all ages, with a ‘Wet n Wild Junior’ section with splash parks and age-appropriate water rides.
Tickets start from $79
2. White Water World
- Type: Theme Park
- Location: The Gold Coast
White Water World is part of the Dreamworld complex. It has a large variety of slides and attractions.
3. Gold Coast Aqua Park

Inflatable Water Parks are hell fun – and a great way to really wear out the kids. Because of Covid, you can only buy tickets online!
4. Gold Coast Aqua Park – Oxenford

- Location: Southport (Gold Coast)
5. Blast Aqua Park – Coolum
- Type: Inflatable Water Park

Blast Aqua Park in Collum is the World’s largest aqua park and it is located right here on the Sunshine Coast. Best of all – the Coolum Aqua Park is freshwater!
6. Bli Bli Aqua Park – Bli Bli

- Location: Bli Bli
Bli Bli Aqua Park is located right next to a wakeboarding park – so the older kids can enjoy the more ‘vigorous’ activities if they are into that.
