10. Breastfeeding Mums Get More Sleep
It might not feel like it when you’re in the middle of dealing with a fussy, crying baby, but mums that breastfeed actually get more sleep. A study in the Journal of Perinatal and Neonatal Nursing estimated they enjoyed 45 minutes more snoozing.
11. Mums Over 30 Breastfeed More
Studies do suggest that mums over 30 are much more likely to breastfeed than younger mums. One study by the CDC found that rates of breastfeeding in mums aged 20 and younger was just 43% compared to a 75% rate in mums aged 30 and over.
