6. Start backwards.
If you need to be somewhere at noon, then take into consideration time it takes to get ready and drive there and work from there. For example, if it takes an hour to get ready and an hour to drive there, you must start the process at 10:00. This does not mean wake up at 10. This means, you are up, in the shower, at 10:00.
7. Add negative consequences to your actions.
You do it with the kids. So why not with yourself? If you procrastinate, then punish yourself. This might sound a little harsh or childish even, but it’s one of the most effective ways to change.
