Surprising List of Foods That Can Be Frozen
Potato chips
Potato chips are of course moisture-free, so defrosting them will not make them all soft and soggy. Why not eat them straight out of the freezer.
Milk
Milk can be frozen, but be careful not to use a heat source to defrost it.
Flour
Freezing flour will help prolong its shelf life. Make sure you store it in an airtight container though.
Cheese and butter
Semi-hard and some hard cheeses are great for freezing. You can freeze in blocks or shred first. Not so much for soft cheeses though (e.g. Brie and cream cheese).
Butter also freezes really well.

Rice
You can cook the rice ahead of time and pop it in the freezer ready for when you need it.
Mashed potatoes
The same goes for mashed potatoes, need a side for your leftovers? Just defrost some mashed potatoes or rice and you are set.
Corn on the cob
You can blanch corn on the cob before freezing or just pop it straight in the freezer and cook once defrosted.
Peanut butter
Peanut butter freezes well, although not sure why you would need to.

You can have fresh bread or dough ready at any time if you freeze it.
Pancakes and waffles
Make pancakes and waffles in advance and freeze them ready for Sunday brunch.
