In case you missed it, we made a list of cleaning products you should stop buying at the supermarket.
And we don’t plan on stopping there!
We at SAHM have put our heads together and made another list – now consisting of foods we stopped buying from the supermarket. Why? Because we can make it at home!
Okay don’t get me wrong. I looove getting groceries. The air in the supermarket (for some weird reason) makes me feel relaxed. It’s actually therapeutic…. until you have to pay.
It’s not only convenient that we know what goes into our family’s meals. Making these foods at home has helped us cut our family expenses. We can save the accumulated money for a little family trip or hubby and I can go on some fancy dates!

Removing pancake mix from your grocery list will help heaps in cutting your grocery budget. Pancake mix can be expensive, especially the most delicious ones. If you opt to buy a cheaper one, you’ll need to add more ingredients to make it taste better. You’re spending more if you think about it, and requires extra work. Skip all that and make things easy – make pancakes from scratch!
