Homemade Cream Cleanser

Here’s a very easy recipe to make your own homemade cream cleanser (like Jif!) – it’s suitable for kitchens and bathrooms, especially the basins.

You’ll need:

1 3/4 cups of bicarbonate of soda

Approx  2/3 cup of dish washing liquid (the amount may need to be varied depending on the type of detergent so add slowly).

Mix the ingredients together to make a creamy substance. You may add about 10 drops of  essential oil such as lavender, lemon or orange. Tea Tree Oil and Eucalyptus Oil are great too as they are natural disinfectant.

Pour the mixture into an old shampoo or dishwashing liquid bottle and it will keep well for up to six months!
