So you’ve stashed the pram in the boot of the car or the shed and left it for a bit – and have come back to a green living life form in the shape of your former pram!  It happens all the time – it has happened to ME!  It really is easy fixed with a little bit of elbow grease – here’s how!

You will need:

  • Clove Oil (from your local chemist or health food shop)
  • 1kg Salt (just basic no-name brand boring old salt!)
  • A good scrubbing brush
In a bucket of water dissolve the salt into the water – it helps if the water is warm – it will ‘melt’ the salt quicker.  Add a few drops of Clove Oil – this will kill the mould spores and will prevent the mould coming back!  With a scrubbing brush or stiff brush – rub the salt water over the whole pram – really give it a good scrub – get into every nook and cranny.  Leave the pram out in the sun for a few hours to dry – you will notice that the water will evaporate and a salt residue will be left.  Then with a dry cloth – wipe off the salt – give the pram a good shaking to get it all off.
One very expensive pram saved!!!!
