This guy is definitely one to watch in the beach volleyball in Rio!! If you like ’em tall, then you’ll love Alex – he’s 6 foot 6!! Nice.
9) Pita Nikolas Taufatofua (Tonga)
Pita has captured hearts everywhere after bearing the flag for Tonga and looking very buff and oily…..believe it or not he was actually born in Australia….oh, yeah and he does taekwondo.
10) Ana Ivanovic (Serbia)
Aside from being a seasoned tennis player, Ana also ranked number 11 on FHM’s list of 100 Sexiest Women in the World in 2009.
Her home country, Serbia, honoured her 2008 Olympic success by featuring her on a postage stamp.
11) Matt Anderson (USA)
Before being a pro volleyballer, Matt played for Penn State and was named NCAA Championship’s Most Outstanding Player.
His professional debut is with the Korean league for Hyundai Capital Skywalkers.
12) Sonny Bill Williams (NZ)
Aside from being a rugby sevens player, Sonny is also a heavyweight boxer, and used to play in the Australian National Rugby League.
He was unfortunately injured playing for NZ in this year’s Olympics and it’s rumoured that his ambulance driver got lost on its way to the hospital.
13) Michelle Jenneke (Australia)
Michelle will be one to watch when she flies over those hurdles – she gained media attention in 2012 for her extremely energetic pre-race warmups (wonder if she’ll do that again in Rio!) She’s also a model!
14) Gemma Flynn (NZ)
Gemma is a hockey player who has been competing with the New Zealand national team called Black Sticks Women at the 2008, 2012 and the current Olympic games.
She is engaged to rugby star Richie McCaw.
15) James Magnussen (Australia)
Dubbed by the media as “The Missile”, James is one of our own and he’s hot stuff in the pool as well as out! He’s a medallist at this Olympics scoring a bronze.
