The lead up has been long, and you’ve threatened your kids with everything from coal under the tree to a permanent place on the naughty list, but it’s finally happened.
Christmas is here! Here’s what our Christmas usually ends up looking like. What about yours?
The Big Day Has Arrived!
You’ve spent the night before channelling the spirit of the jolly fat man.

And hoping your kids don’t sneak out of bed and flip out at the sight of you delivering presents.

So you’re pretty damn tired.

But we hope you aren’t expecting to sleep in, because your kids are at your door.

And they’re just waiting for you to say it’s time to open some presents.

You say it’s time.

There’s a moment of magic.

Followed by pure excitement when you get it right.

And probably a few moments you’d rather forget.

After The Presents
Just for a second, it seems like your kids are just the best ever.

But that doesn’t last very long.

Soon they’re back to being their destructive selves again.

Messing with their siblings.

So much for that.

Now Come The Family And The Food
With the presents done, it’s time for the food.

And you just don’t even care about that mince pie belly.

Because that’s the only way to survive that one person who takes things way too seriously.

So eat your fill.

Don’t let anyone tell you that you should watch your weight.

Christmas comes just once a year!

Plus there’s drinks to be had.

Tis The Season
Enough of those Christmas tipples, and you might just start to enjoy yourself.

Maybe a little too much.

Or a lot too much.

Pretty soon you want the whole thing to be over, so you can sleep.

Panic a little about how fast your kids are growing up.

And get ready to do it all again next year.

Merry Christmas SAHM!
