Ahh, Christmas is a wonderful time for family, food, and gift-giving.
But being on top of everything for the holidays (plus making sure it runs smoothly) can be a challenge.. So mums need a lot of help!
Over the years I’ve found some helpful hacks that changed my holiday preparations. I also learned more hacks from my mum friends and it works for them. Well I have some good news: I have them all in here in this list!
Check out these hacks to help your Christmas tasks a little bit easier this year.
1. Christmas Wrapping
Every year my Christmas wrapping paper ends up getting smooshed in the back of a cupboard somewhere, or eaten by mice.. or destroyed by my children. This is an ingenious idea!
2. Christmas Gift List
Write a list of Christmas gifts! That way you know your budget and who to buy for. If you see something on sale during the year, pick it up to save loads of dough before Santa comes! Lists = Sanity!
3. Safe Ornament Storage
When packing up the Christmas tree I get a bit slack with keeping it all organised because by this time I feel like shoving it in the back in its box for another year, though this is a quick way to keep all of your ornaments safe from damage and nicely organised.
4. Christmas Tree Storage
Most of the time the tree does not want to go back in that box.. tying the branches down and keeping their shape in a cylindrical tube looks after your tree and its bits and bobs.
5. Gift Wrapping Station
Instead of sprawling wrapping paper, ribbons and taps across the dining table make a gift wrapping station! everything’s in one place this way and give you peace of mind when all the presents are ready to be wrapped.
