Jeans Too Big?
Personally, we don’t know what it’s like to have jeans that are too big, but we know there are some people out there that deal with this problem. Luckily, there are a few simple solutions!
1. Wash Them Hot
via outfitideashq.comShrinking jeans that have grown too big, either from weight loss or wear, is not nearly as hard as stretching out jeans that are too small. One simple method to shrink jeans is to wash them on the hottest setting of your washing machine. This will help to draw the fabric together. Make sure you don’t use fabric softener, to really tighten them up.
2. Dry Them Hot
If you absolutely want to shrink your jeans, make sure you pop them straight into the dryer immediately following your hot wash. The dryer has a much more ‘shrinking’ effect than just drying your jeans on the washing line, so make sure you get them in the dryer on the hottest setting.
3. Wear Layers

This one works best when it’s a bit cooler, or you might find that you’re cooking in your clothes. Just pop on a pair of tights or leggings, the thicker the better, and pull the jeans on over the top. Who knew long-johns served a purpose in the modern world!
